Lauren started her dance training at Dancers Workshop in Austin, TX, and was apart of the pre-professional Austin Dance Works Company for several years. Immediately following her senior year, she was selected as one of twenty dancers for the Edge Performing Arts Center scholarship program in Los Angeles, California. She trained and studied all styles of dance and was fortunate enough to work with some of California’s most prestigious choreographers.
Upon completion of the program, Lauren was signed with McDonald Selznick Associates, also known as MSA. Her works include: Nickelodeon’s hit show “Victorious” as Jade’s photo/body double (Season 1 & 2), Disney’s Camp Rock 2 national promotional commercial, “Fame” promotional, featured film “Dance Freak”, “TV moves 2! Live”, and many other stage/live performances throughout the Los Angeles area. Lauren can also be seen featured in issues of Dance Spirit Magazine, Marcea, Meekelle, A Wish Come True and Leo’s Dancewear.
Lauren is currently a staff member at Dancers Workshop and a company member of Third Coast Contemporary in Austin, TX. She has been busy traveling throughout the Central Texas area teaching at workshops and setting team/solo choreography. In December of 2014, she will be graduating with her Registered Nursing Degree. Lauren feels so blessed to wake up every day and share her love of dance with young aspiring dancers.
