David Anderson has been a professional educator for 30 years. He teaches leadership, is a motivational speaker, and facilitates the challenge course and team building activities. He has his masters degree in physical education administration from Texas State University and received his bachelor’s degree from McNeese State University where he played quarterback. David is also a professional golf teacher.
David works with people through experiential activities to enhance teamwork, risk-taking, and self-esteem. He has spent many years encouraging them to reach for their full potential and to step out of their comfort zone, with the understanding that is ok to fail when striving to better one’s self. He also serves as a professional announcer in many venues—University of Texas Men’s Basketball, Texas Relays, NCAA Basketball and Track Championships, Texas High School State Basketball Championships for Girls and Boys, Texas State Track Meet, High School and Semi-Pro Football, Dance Competitions, Band Competitions, as well as many other events. David’s favorite quote, which defines his philosophy, is “Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” He credits much of what he has learned through his students’ lives and their ability to overcome challenges which inspires him to continue to improve in all he does.
