I was introduced to the wonderful world of dance at the age of three in the Shirley McPhail School of Dance and haven’t looked back. My love of dance continued through Tinka’s Moving Company, Joyce Willett’s Body Talk Dance Company, and the Westwood High School Sun Dancers performance and drill team. Along the way, I have won numerous awards for solo, ensemble, and group performances that reflect the training I have been fortunate to receive. I have also had the chance to study under some of the top dance in dance including Laurie Johnson, Susan Hadley, and Dr. Linda Quinn. In addition to having taught tap and choreography in the Fine Arts Academy at Westwood High School, I am currently involved in different studios in the Austin area as head tap instructor and choreographer.
At this time I am finishing my Associates of Arts in Dance at ACC, where I am a member of the student dance company, and will matriculate to Concordia University to finish my BA in Biology and BFA in Dance. It is with great passion that I pass along my love of dance to others who pursue the dream.
